Pay It Forward
A gentle invitation, entirely optional
Thank you for using tidyMacro! I built it for my own research, and it makes me genuinely happy every time I hear that it is useful to someone else. It is free and open source, and it will always stay that way.
If tidyMacro saved you some time, or a few late nights, you might like to pass a little of that on by supporting a children’s or education charity of your choice.
Just to be clear: I have no affiliation with the organisations below and receive nothing from any donation. They are only suggestions, and any cause close to your heart is just as welcome.
Some suggestions
A few organisations doing wonderful work for children and education:
- UNICEF: works for children’s health, protection and education in more than 190 countries and territories.
- Save the Children: supports children’s health, education and protection, including in emergencies.
- Room to Read: focuses on childhood literacy and girls’ education in low-income countries.
- Malala Fund: works for girls’ access to twelve years of free, safe, quality education.
Donations reported by users
Research can do good in many ways, and this is one I find especially heartwarming: knowing that tidyMacro might, even in a small way, help children and their education is a big part of what keeps me going. The chart below keeps track of what users have kindly reported.
If you donated because of tidyMacro, I would love to hear about it! You can let me know anonymously: the form asks only for the date and the amount, no name or e-mail.
No donations have been reported yet; the monthly chart will appear here as soon as the first one comes in.
